MACBIA Goal

The goal that I want to achieve in the next eight weeks is to study to the point where I can pass grade three in Test in Practical French Proficiency. 

 And this is how I am going to use MACBIA to reach my goal. 
Measurable : 
I would know exactly what I need to study in order to pass grade three by using study guides. 

 Achievable :
It should be achievable depending on how passionate I will become in studying for the test. 

 Challenging :
The reason why I chose grade three is because I would be able to challenge myself. Judging from the past exams published on the website, I thought grades below would not be too challenging for me. 

 Beneficial :
Whether I take the test or not, I pass the test or not, I am sure it would build a great confidence in myself. 

 Incremental : 
I will start by reviewing what I have learned in the past and try doing past exams. 

 Accountable : 
My older sister is currently studying for DELE, which is Spanish proficiency test, so I am sure we would be able to share encouragements and support each other.

    Your goal of passing the test is a good one. However, to use MACBIA, you need to find a more measurable goal that will help you pass the test. For example, you could have a goal of how many vocabulary words you will learn. Or, how many grammar structures you will study. Or how many pages from French books you will read. Or, a combination of these.

    It's really important to learn French than any other languages. French hate to speak in English. Even if they understand, they still reply in French.

Titanic Movie Poster (CRAP Analysis)

To evaluate a poster based on the CRAP principles, I have chosen the poster of my favorite movie, Titanic . C ontrast:       >The dark background makes Jack (Leonald Dicaprio) and  Rose (Kate Winslet) stand out.       >The overall darkness of this poster indicates the tragedy the characters will be facing throughout the movie. R epetition:       >Words written in the poster use the same font. A lignment:      >The words are all lined up in the bottom center of the poster.  P roximity:      >The names of the actor and actress are in the same size, differentiating themselves with the other information.       ----- In order to make this poster more eye-catching and convincing, I think it would be better to make improvements in the contrast by writing the title of the movie much larger or in a different font.

My Favorite Place to Eat in Ikebukuro

It has been almost two months since the university started—as we got used to our new life, we taught ourselves how to use our empty periods effectively: studying and or exploring the city of Ikebukuro. I find myself going out for lunch with friends when I feel like looking for a relaxing getaway.  In Ikebukuro, there are so many restaurants and cafes to choose from that we are often torn between the myriads of options.  The place that really struck me was a restaurant called Patisserie a la campange, located on the way to Ikebukuro station from the campus.  Patisserie a la campange serves a combination of French and Italian food with very reasonable price.  Not only the amazing quality of their dishes, but also the atmosphere of the place is one of the features that had spoken to me. My City: Kamakura

Calm waves, breathtaking sunset, and myriads of archaic buildings... As soon as you get off the train, all you can sense is the smell of the salt from the ocean brought by the wind.  There is a town that never forgets to impress every single person who comes to visit: Kamakura. Kamakura is located in the coastal area of Kanagawa Prefecture and has been recognized as one of the tourist traps in Japan. It is mostly known for its temples, beaches, Enoden, and the Great Buddha.   Even as a citizen of Kamakura, I find my town intriguing because its beauty is hidden everywhere. As I grow older, the way I see the town and the surroundings alter into the much greater view—I am convinced that this goes to all the visitors as well.  What I like about Kamakura is that the fact that—although it may sound ordinary—it has the face that only the residents know.
